Guest Speaker Engagements
We welcome the opportunity to speak at conferences, workshops and other engagements. If you would like to work with the Alzheimer’s Association for your occasion, here is some information for you to consider.
Our goal is to fulfill as many requests as possible. We usually plan six months in advance, but we will do our best to accommodate requests with less notice. It can take up to 2-4 weeks to process and fill these requests.
Typically our representatives are staff; however, we do have a limited number of volunteer speakers who are caregivers or people living with the disease who can speak about their experience. NOTE: This type of speaker requires extra notice and may not be available in all areas.
If you’d like to invite an Alzheimer’s Association speaker, please submit our online request form as soon as possible. The form explains what your options are, and solicits information about your event — such as your target audience and what type of program you are planning.
Our program team will coordinate your request with the goal of securing an appropriate speaker for your event.
