A support group is a regularly scheduled in-person or virtual gathering of people living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, family, and friends who interact around issues relating to dementia. Groups can be supportive or educational in nature and are facilitated by individuals who have received training from theAlzheimer’s Association. Groups range from caregiver groups to groups for individuals living with mild symptoms. We also have groups for specific populations. Please note that our support groups are not meant for professional caregivers.

Most groups meet 1-2x per month for 60-90 minutes and offer a combination of education and emotional support.

We have several support groups throughout both Massachusetts and New Hampshire at different times and in varying locations. We hope you will find a group near you that meets your needs. To learn more, please contact our 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
