“Having a father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at 58, I have made it my goal to fundraise for the organization through their runs and memory ride for the past couple years. This past year I had the honor of being able to volunteer at the Boston Marathon! I say the word honor because it truly was. It was a thrilling experience and the thank you’s we received were endless. In the end, it was me that should have been thanking the Association for selecting me to be a part of this incredible event. I will be either a volunteer or a participant raising funds for this #1 killer with NO cure and continue to help find a cure for my family and others!”
