THE LONGEST DAY
The Longest Day is a Do-It-Yourself fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association. Pick a date, pick an activity and location, invite friends and family to join you and raise as much awareness and funding as you can! We provide you with a personal, customizable fundraising website and all kinds of tools and resources to host a successful fundraiser! No fundraising minimums required. While many people chose to host their events on or around June 20th (the summer solstice and the longest day of the year) you are welcome to host your event anytime that works for you! Use June 20th as the day to kickoff your event and fundraising, share your connection to the cause, or celebrate your accomplishments and thank your donors. The day with the most light is the day we fight and honor all those on this Alzheimer’s journey. Social media will be a buzz of Alzheimer’s awareness and fundraising efforts!
As you can imagine the Alzheimer’s Association has been hit quite hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and our community has been disproportionately effected. We need your help now, more than ever as we work to address new concerns and challenges around dementia related to COVID-19.
